Too bad some people don't know that words can have several meanings, especially internationally.
On the sole of a shoe, I doubt that the discoloration can be repaired, but the white liquid shoe polish will probably make it look good again.

I WAS JOKING ---IT IS A PERFECTLY GOOD QUESTION.
my mom always says white vinager works for just about anything. so, try soaking it in vinager. if,that doesn't work. try what Lazla said----she knows what she is talking about.
