I found out my best friends gf told everyone she was having a baby including her boss, Later on she found out that she wasnt and now shes afraid if anyone finds out they'll hate her or maybe lose her job what should i tell her

she should just pretend to be pregnant, then a little bit down the road she can tell everyone she had a miscarriage. Then nobody will know she lied on accident.

I'm not clear on the situation, did the gf tell everybody because she thought she was pregnant? how did she determine this by taking a test with a clear test result? or by guessing? Did she change her mind about having a baby or found out that she isnt no longer pregnant? Her boss cant fire her for neither case. That would be irrational to do. It has nothing to do with work. They may dislike her for confusing everybody but do the right thing and tell the truth. Who cares what others think as long as you tell the truth.

It's not lying in any way. If the plan changes, update the other people. Tell her to let everybody know who showed interest in the first place, that she isn't having one, right away. There is no shame in this. Just don't put it off for months, because 9 months later is too late to tell people she knew she wouldn't have had the baby 8 months before that. Not a big deal. They won't hate her. The sooner she says it the faster you can move on.

Tell her to explain it was a false positive. If she's super afraid that the truth is going to upset people or maybe get her fired, then maybe she never really thought she was pregnant to begin with. The truth is always the best way to go, and if she fears it, it was probably a lie.

She needs to tell the truth now before it is to late! Everyone will be looking for her to start showing.It may have been an oversight thinking that she was and tell her boss she got a little excited and thought she may have been and just apoligize she should'nt lose her job because of it.

Just to be honest. If it was an honest mistake, she has nothing to worry about. But just how did she mistakenly think she was pregnant? Did she not have a test done? Or did she have a test done, and it was a false positive? This rarely happens. If she just missed her period, and thus thought she was pregnant, then it is a lesson learned. A missed period is not enough. Next time, hopefully, she won't be so quick to tell everyone.She just needs to tell them, "Sorry, it was a false alarm". I just can't see her getting fired over this.

tell her that should tell everyone that she was wrong and that she is not pregnant. It is a mistake that happens alot and her boss can't fire her for that. I know it is hard but telling the truth right away is better than lieing to everyone for months and then trying to make up some miscarraige thing. that would loose her her job.

Tell your friend to be honest with every one she jumped the gun and announced an unconfirmed pregnancy which happened to be a false alarm. Tell her she will be fine if any ones up set with her over it, She can just explain how she was so excited by the idea she couldn't keep it to herself. Good Luck.

why did she tell people that to begin with then? how do you tell people if you are not sure? at any rate, she needs to tell her boss she is no longer expecting. and hope he doesnt ask what happened, if he does, she will find herself in an even bigger lie.

If she sincerely thought she was pregnant she just needs to explain to everyone why she thought that and apologize to them. She's have to let them know one day. They'll figure it out if she never shows.
