There have been many cases of a team scoring more than 400 runs in the 4th Innings. Some games were won, some were lost and some were drawn. Given below are the details of the team who scored more than 400 runs in the 4th Innings and won the match:

1) In the 4th Test of Ashes series played at Headingley, Leeds
from 22nd to 27th July, 1948, Australia scored 404 runs for
3 wickets and won the game against England by 7 Wickets.

2) In the 3rd Test of 1975/76 series played at Queen's Park
Oval, Trinidad from 7th to 12th April 1976, India scored
406 runs for 4 wickets against West Indies and won the
match by 6 wickets.

3) In the 4th Test of 2002/2003 series played between Australia
and West Indies at Antigua Recreation Ground, St. Johns
from 9th to 13th May 2003, West Indies scored 418 runs
for 7 wickets and won the game by 3 wickets

I know it only 4 times to times wins,1 lose and 1 Draw
India and West-Indies have chased over 400 runs
India have lost too.
India need 9 runs when 2 wickets left when bad light stopped play.

west indies , india and australia have acheived the feat in the matches won after scoring 400 runs
west indies done against australia 2002/03, india against west indies 1975/76 and australia against england bacck in 1948
while matches drawn include: england vs south africa 1938, india vs england 1979, south africa vs england 1947 and west indies vs england 1929
and in the matches lost the teams that scored 400 and more are: england vs south africa 1938, india vs england 1979, south africa vs england 1947, west insdies vs england 1929
