I, as well as many of my clients use a pre-packaged, whole-body detox from Renew. This is a safe, effective, gentle cleansing regimen consisting of two herbal capsules taken twice daily for a period of one month. The cost is around $30usd. There are several similar products available. Check with your local health food store to see if there is one that their customers found beneficial.
I would not recommend buying one through a television ad or over the internet. From what I've seen, they are more expensive and less balancing than the products you can purchase locally. Please feel free to email me with any questions.

Purchase a cleanse locally. Most of the ones I've seen advertised on TV are over-priced and less effective than ones you can get at the health food store. Instead of a colon cleanse, why not check out the whole-body detox products available? There are specific cleanses for liver, bowel, lung, etc.; but the whole-body is the easiest and most effective.
It is a very good thing to do to improve body function. The folks who say it's not necessary probably don't have their duct work in their homes cleaned, either.

I see this question SO OFTEN...where are you guys getting the idea that a colon needs to be cleaned? It's a self-cleaning organ, and anyone who tells you different is trying to sell you some hocus-pocus the only effect of which will be to put $$$ in his pocket.
Weight loss? Sure, you might hose out 5 pounds of ca-ca but it will come right back, silly.
Use common sense! These procedures can be dangerous and at the very least, will mess up a natural process. If you are still in doubt, I beg you to give your doctor a call. Yes, I'm serious!

I had the same question a few weeks ago. I did some web search and found the site listed below. I made the lemonade and followed the diet for 3 days, not the full 10. It did well for me, definately worked and I felt much better after. Give it a try.

Hi! I've done a cleansing of the system, but not with over the counter products that I've seen advertised. I did what is called a RESET program by Usana Health Sciences. I would really recommend doing this. It is a 5 day program that not only cleanses out the system, but it puts all the nutrients into your body that you need to maintain a healthy weight and diet. It consists of 3 of their Nutrimeal shakes a day-morn, noon, and night. You can have 2 of their nutrition bars for snacks during the day, and then 2 servings of fruits/veggies. If you are looking to maintain a healthy weight and diet, I would suggest getting on the regimen that they recommend after you complete the five days. I have been on the shakes, and they are the best! Low glymemic and packed with nutrients, fiber and proteins. I blend it with skim milk and a banana every morning, and I don't even get hungry for lunch! I just had my 2nd child 6 weeks ago, and I've been in my pre-prego clothes for over a month and I feel great! You can get more info on my website, or email me if you have q's! I'd love to help you out!

yeah im serious too- THEY DONT DO ANYTHING EXCEPT MAKE YOU ****! those colon cleansing kits are just overpriced high doses of laxatives, people use them, then think they look for anyways that they feel better and they say "oh i didnt have a headache today, it must have been the colon cleanser! (placebo effect)" there has never been a study to my knowledge that has shown any measureable benefit, except weight loss (and youre not burning fat, youre only losing water and dehydrating yourself which is dangerous and not beneficial b/c youll gain it right back again in a few days)

I just ordered a colon cleanse and detox from www.DrNatura.com. If you want to know anything about this procedure look it up, they have tons of information to read about. You can also see all of the listed ingredients. It is a 30 day program and I should receive mine later this week. I have only heard good things about doing this. I have also talked to their customer service dept. and they are very friendly. Their products come with a 60 day money back gaurantee and they have a 5 star rating from Health Magazine. Check it out, this should answer all of your questions. Good Luck!

No one has ever tried colen clense products, because there is no such thing as a colen. However, many people have tried colon cleanse products. However, you are a woman, are you sure you have a colon?

I tried colon cleanse and they do work. I took it to loose a little weight without losing my energy level. I followed the program to the letter and it worked. It kept my energy levels and I was able to stay focused on my tasks. It works really well and you will lose a lot of weight. Lost 20lbs in about 1 month.

Dr. Natura on the web, out of santa cruz. One month program. $50. I have never felt better, and I was skeptical. I feel better have more energy, no suffering ( unless you steep the tea too long!) I started it last year and do it periodically throughout the year now. You wont believe what comes out of your body, it's scary!
