The average is 14 days from day 1 of your period, which would be Oct 6th for you. Since I don't know how many days are in your cycle. I'd say have sex every other day starting Sept 30th and keeping going for 2-3 weeks.

First of all, how long are your cycles? Day 1 of your cycle is the first day of your last period. Many women ovulate about 14 days before their next cycle (period is due). Therefore, if your cycle is 28 days, you would probably ovulate around day 14. However, every woman is different. To find out when you are ovulating you can try the following:
Chart your daily bbt (basil body temperature). When your temp rises 0.5 degrees F, you have ovulated. You can get more info on this at fertilityfriend.com and chart your temps for free there.
Buy an ovulation kit.
Check for signs of ovulation, such as ovulation pains in the lower abdomen on either side and cervical mucus that looks like raw egg whites.
Whatever method you decide, I would start having sex every other day from at least day 10 of your cycle through day 20.
I would also suggest charting your bbt so that if you aren't successful conceiving right away, you have some data to show your OB.
I've also heard of a book called "Taking charge of your fertility" by Toni Weschler. I haven't read it yet, but it has great reviews.

All of that would be asuming you have a perfect 28 day cycle every month - are you sure you have this? If not then your best bet is to have sex daily about a week after your period ends for about 2 weeks - if you would like to have a more exact method then get some ovulation test kits you can buy these at pharmacies or online there are 2 that I know of 1 kind you pee on a stick and it tells you when you are ovulating and the second is called MaybeBaby and it goes off your saliva you put a drop of saliva on the end of the kit and look through its magnafying glass and depending on the pattern you see it will tell you if you are ovulating - I have tried the MaybeBaby one and you are supposed to look out for a fern shaped pattern through the viewer - I never actually go this but I have PCOS and very rarely ovulate - my sister uses the pee sticks and she has fallen pregnant several times using this method (problem is all her pregnancies go to ectopic pregnancies) OH you can also use the temperature method - apparently you buy a basil thermometer and as soon as you wake up (before getting out of bed or moving around much) stick the thermometer into your mouth (or you can test by sticking into your vagina) but either way you note your basil temperature daily - when your temperature goes up by 1 degree you should be ovulating.
Hope all this helps and good luck falling pregnant!

This all depends on how long your cycle lasts. If you have a typical 30 day cycle you will most likely ovulate on day 15 or October 7. If your cycle is shorter or longer it can vary by that number of days.
You have two options. You can either buy an ovulation predicter kit (they work just like pregnancy tests) and it will tell you when you are ovulating. Your other option is to start trying on day 9 (October 1) and continue trying until day 20 (October 12).

The problem with trying to time ovulation is you don't really know until your next cycle starts (menstruation starts)... and then it has already happened. Assuming you are a "28 day" gal, your best guess would be 14 days after the START of your cycle... which would also be 14 days before your next one starts.
Mother nature likes to reproduce... it's what she does best. Let her worry about when it happens and just kick back and have lots of sex all over the house while you still can!

You need to know how long your cycle is. Mine was 26, and I ovulated on days 10 or 11. If its 28 days, subtract 14 and that should be time of ovulation. Try the at home ovualtion kits, that is how I determined the days for me. It may take a while to get pregnant I finally got pregnant after a year of trying. Just relax and Good Luck

You usually ovulate about 14 days after the first day of your mestraul cycle. So if you started your period on the 23 the you sould be ovulating around October 7. I would have intercourse from the 5th through the 9th to give you the best odds uf concieving.

It depends on how long your cycle is if its a 28 day cycle (from beginning to menses to day before next menses) I would start trying on Oct. 3. Actually best bet is to buy an ovulation kit and it'll tell you when to start testing depending on cycle length. Then you'll know exactly when you will ovulate without having to guess.

It depends how long your cycle is. You figure out when your next cycle begins and you should be most fertile 12 to 15 days before that. Funnest fix would be to 'play ball' every night until you are pregnant.... WOO HOO!!!!!

The average woman ovulates 7 days after the LAST day of their period. So start having sex 3 days after your period and then have sex every other day after that so the man has time to "save" sperm (If you wanna do it everyday Im sure it wont hurt anything, but the "professionals" suggest every other day). Sperm can live inside the women for 3 to 5 days too.
I hope this information helps you out. Good luck and God Bless!
(Start having sex on Monday the 3rd!!)
