Hey...I know how you feel. I've got pix and videos of my ex bf too and he also was the one who ended the relationship. I refuse to delete them. I'm over him but there is something preventing me from deleting them. So I would suggest that you leave them on your phone. If you feel you need to watch them every so often, then do so. As time goes on you'll find yourself looking at them less and less and gradually you'll think of him less often. Then one day you'll not think about him at all and maybe then you'll be ready to delete them. It's tough and a long process but you'll get there. We all do. You'll survive.

At the moment you want to wallow in the sadness of the brerak up and that is fine. BUt you know that you have to start ot move on. This is just another step in the process - it's like returning borrowed stuff of gifts or whatever. In situations like this rituals can be very comforting. Find youself a quiet time. Light some candles, watch the videos and cry all you like but say goodbye to them and then delete them. Sit down and write a last letter to him then put it aside to morning (in the morning you can decide whether to send it or not but getting it all out onto paper helps). Remember all the good times, and be thankful for them. Every one you chose to be a part of your life will teach you something if you chose to learn it, thank him for the lessons he's given you - these will make you a better wife/partner when that time comes for you.

Hey, I've been there and I can imagine what you're going through. It is hard to delete things which are obviously precious memories especially when you feel that the whole thing is definitely over and there's no way of going back. I'd suggest to move them to a pc via bluetooth or cable if your mobile can hook up to one. If not try mms-ing them to a friend's mobile who can do that for you. Don't worry, it may take some time but you WILL get over this, eventually. Keep in mind that you're not really missing HIM but the nice dream that you had which has now blown away.
A time will come when you will realize that you cannot keep walking through life looking backwards as otherwise you will walk straight by fresh hopes that you are now failing to see..

Remember you are in control of your life. Many of life experiences are not rosy. But we need them to gain wisdom. This won't be the last time your heart will be broken. Because the more you love, the more you care, the more you open yourself to disappointments and despair. This is the way of the lover. But every time you get over a personal heartbreak the stronger you become as a person. There are lessons to be learned in tragedies. It's been said, "It is better to have loved and got hurt than to have never loved at all."
Your ex may just be a habit you are having a difficulty breaking. The best way to get over a habit is by replacing it with a better habit. That is if you want to put a period to it. But to induge in self pity is self defeating. I wish you peace in your heart.

Dont mean to be harsh but DELETE them and move on.
Similar thing happened to me, had loadsa different things related to the ex on my phone and wouldnt delete them.
When I did, it took a couple of days but you stop thinking about them and get on with life like you did before you met them which is the best thing to do .. Trust me .. Been there done that

Honey, you need to get rid of them. Take a good look at them one more time, cry if you need to, and then hit delete. You have other things that remind you of him, you don't need these videos. When a relationship is over, you need to distance yourself from visuals for awhile. You need to do it for your sanity really. Trust me. Haven't had videos, but I know what you're talking about.

When you ARE ready to be with someone new, you won't want these kind of reminders. And try to put yourself in your future guys' shoes...would you want him to have these videos of an ex? Wouldn't you wonder why he can't let them go?

Well you need to delete them, you wont be able to move on untill you do.
However if you want to get them off your phone and still save them you could load them onto you computer if you have the connection lead or bluetooth dongle.
Or bluetooth them to a TRUSTED friend.

But you are going to delete them sooner or later and it might as well be sooner. You will feel much better if you do.

Get rid of them and move on. It helps no-one to let yourself get sad. Take a class, take a walk, read a good book. Clean your house... move fore ward. Don't dwell on the past life is toooo short. Laugh alot. Watch a good movie. Hang out with positive friends whose lives are moving ahead. He'll only wish he still had you.
