With a newborn, I went through 10-12 in a day, about. It also kind of depends on whether the babe is breastfed or formula fed; formula makes babies a bit constipated, and so they poo less often (gross, sorry, but it matters for this...).
Regardless, though, it really is just constant diaper changes in those first months.

It depends on the baby really i tended to change at every feed unless they had a wee or poo in between so this can work out from 6 - 15 nappies a day so for a week it would be 54 - 100 sounds like a lot but believe me it happens. The most annoying thing is you just change them and they poo lol!!! but they are worth it good luck

I would say about 6 - 7 per day at first (and mostly because you are so paranoid about them being wet when they are actually not!), If you are worried about the expense look at for the special deals on packets - Tesco always have loads on. Word of warning though - don't buy too many in the smaller sizes as your baby will grow out of them quickly -I made that mistake and had loads of nappies left over that don't fit!!

You're looking at about 7 every 24 hours (not the ridiculous 10 a lot of baby mags who try to get you to buy their favourite brands would like you to think).
It then goes down to about 5.
They make a hell of a hole in your budget, though!
I was told the Lidl's nappies were great, although I never tried them on my daughter as she had bad skin.
Hope this helps.

i would probabley average on 4-5 per day so thats about a pack a week but dont go buying too many as you dont know what weight the baby will be and they grow so fast i made this mistake and had loads left that i just gave away.

you will see that newborn nappies have more in them, the bigger the size the fewer nappies, you should need about 1 pack a week, but have 1 in reserve just incase.I use asda nappies or tesco's.

you should change their nappy every 2 hours to try and prevent them getting nappy rash obviously if they poo or wee alot then change it as soon as! All people like different kind of brands but me personally I prefer Huggies or Asdas own as they seem more comfy and they hold in alot more!
