I am trying out for Belle, though I would be happy with a bit part/ensemble. I know I need to have something comfortable for the movement portion of the audition. Any suggestions on clothing for the singing part though?

Certainly DO NOT show up in "Character"

I have to believe you know what is appropriate in a professional situation, while being comfortable to you.

I doubt seriously that you need to bring a suitcase filled with changes for either situation, unless there have been suggestions regarding such.

Obviously you'll be in the company of others who will have different attire for specifics, and yet they may not get a part, no matter.

I suggest something loose and comfortable, like a black/ white vest and black trousers/ skirt, with sensible shoes. You need to look smart, but be able to act in them. Remeber this is just like applying for a job.
Good luck, I hope you get the part of Belle

I would suggest a gold or yellow shirt, with your hair up in a bun and wearing some loose jeans or black pants.

See if the theater company has a guideline. If they don't I would suggest a nice loose skirt.
