Sorry, I don know hindi much..But if bindi is the red thing (kum kum or red dotted sticker) that u put in your forehead, then in tamil we call it is pottu (பொட்டு - po pronounced as in pomegranate) and the sacred red thing they give in temple is called kungumam (குங்குமம்)
