Good Luck!

You probably won't be able to afford it. A set of new tires for that car in storage will cost $800. The tune up should be the same as a Cadillac and finding any interior or body parts for it will be rather expensive.
You'll need that Volkswagen. The old vette should not be your only vehicle. It will probably be in the shop a lot. Do you have a vette mechanic? Forget what you may think...it's NOT a Chevy. The tuneup parts will be the only ones GM carries. The drive line, suspension, electrical, and fuel systems are mostly "vette only" and typical GM mechanic has not worked on one...especially an older model.
Corvettes are like motorcycles...you don't see them on the road when it rains or snows. Do you live where it snows? My vette has never seen snow. They are like driving a snowplow when more than 3 " fall and a wet pavement is a challenge while in a high speed turn.

Maybe I'm wrong....you're a wealthy collector looking for a cheap '67 convertible. with tri-power. Forget it. Corvette owners know what they have...it won't be cheap! Maybe you can find a disgruntled wife of a vette owner.

The guy above me is not the brightest...
Corvettes are like any other car...and yes they are a chevy.
Keep your eye's open and you might be able to find a very bad shape 70's vette for around 3 or 4 grand. You might even get one that is in real rough shape for 2 grand. I mean come on guy above me...you practically can't give away a c4...its one of the worst vettes made. (and yes I have owned my share)

The gentleman above me must have bought his vette during his midlife crisis..therefore it became magical and nothing is better than the vette...NOTHING!!!!!...

Well, regardless...you can find what you are looking for..you will just have to look pretty hard for it...keep searching!

To prove my point...I bought a set of tires for my 02 Z06 last summer for 300 bucks all the way around the car brand new off ebay...the guy above me is a tool.

It makes me ill. i don't understand alot related to the regulation yet would strongly recommend finding a solid kinfolk regulation criminal expert. in case you have documentation of the final twelve months and a nil.5, you will desire to be waiting to discover somebody to take the case. maximum states have an ombudsman interior the criminal expert accepted's place of work that could direct you to the right commencing place. hopefully, they are able to additionally provide you propose on a thank you to finance it. As for finding the right criminal expert... that one is tough. initiate by potential of finding at who's a factor of nationwide companies (you could seek those on line) some do not take charge till the case is complete and others say they gained't till they win. you easily prefer a kinfolk regulation criminal expert for this one. you could incorporate criminal expert expenditures interior the contract. i'm sorry on your loss and experience undesirable you will desire to manage the crimson tape of probate... no exciting. best of success.
