Yes it probably is teething. Try giving your baby some infant tylenol and give him/her a wet cold face cloth to suck on. It helps a lot. Good luck. Also diaper rashes are normal as well.

Sounds like teething. Infant Motrin or Tylenol will help. With my kids, I let them have those freezer pops (you know the little plastic bags with no sticks), but didn't open the bag, just clean the outside well. If they do happen to break through the plastic, what's inside won't hurt them.

Good luck. If the fever lasts more than about 2 days, you might check with the pediatrician to make sure nothing else is going on.

If your baby is teething and has a fever which is normal just give them the proper dosage of Infant/children's Motrin or Infant/children's Tylenol. Your child will be fine! Once the tooth or teeth pop through it will be better! They will be cranky and want to be loved a little more. Just give lots of hugs and love along with the medicine and they will be fine!! A mothers love is always the best when they feel under the weather :)

Yes, your baby could be teething. Try using some infant Tylenol or Motrin. You can also get some orajel. Try a frozen teething ring. But if your still not for sure take the baby to the doctor. Best of Luck

Doctors have always told me babies don't run a fever when they cut teeth but I have raised (and am still raising) 8 children and almost every one of them ran a fever while teething at one time or another with no other illness present. Good luck!

Five months is pretty young to cut teeth-although it's not unheard of. Still, I would watch for signs that something else might be up.
