If you use a PR company, they can reach the agents and let the celebrity's know about your events. Some will come just on that alone. However if they are bigger celebrity's such as Jessica Simpson. You would probably have to try and contact her assistant or agent. If you send and invite/evite most celebritys will let you know ahead of time if they are coming or not or if they are sending someone.
