a few weeks back myself and three other mates went to paris for a weekend we had two rooms and shared the rooms but the problem is the guy i shared a room with is gay and it was a double bed at the time it did not seem a problem and we had a great weekend .But now my other two mates keep saying that something must have happened if we were sharing the same bed i keep telling them it did not but they dont believe me or wont. But it has now got to the point where i and my mate the one thats gay has had enough and intend to break contact with them are we right to do this or should we just let it die down

To be honest I think your friends are being very insensitive, but do not forget that they are human and therefore their question may be based on curiosity or the fact that they may find gay sex interesting though they will never admit it. You will never believe how many guys enjoyed gay sex as one night stand or experience and still feel straight. About your friends talk to them and explain how you feel about their question. If they are good intelligent friends they will understand and maybe apologise, if they don't, then dump them you want lose anything worthwhile. This is what friendship is all about: understanding and respect for each other.Take care buddy

Sounds like they (your so called friends) must have had a **** time sharing a room and have nothing better to talk about (did they get single beds?) - at the end of the day you know what went on and you need to not get upset by it (the more you protest the harder they will tease - for the reaction). If you have asked them to stop saying it is untrue and it hurts your feelings and they don't stop then they are not good friends to start with!!

Your friends are just being immature. If you have a real problem with it you've got to talk to them. Don't break the friendship and go off with the friend thats gay, surely thats just going to fuel their stupidity even more? Besides that, you're obviously close and it would be a real shame to loose your close friends. Sit them down and tell them how hurtful and annoying their behaviour is. If they are true friends they will listen and stop doing it, if not, then you're better off without them. Good luck.

Do they think of you as much as you think of them? Are gay or straight? If they know you are not gay they must just be trying to really wind you up. Have you tried sitting them down and saying that this is getting beyond a joke qand you think they give it a rest now. I know all friends make fun of each other, but sometimes it can go too far

Seriously - the more you deny it and make a big deal over it - the more they're gona keep it up - stop entertaining them! Next time they start ribbing you about it - call their bluff and be like "yeah you're right we had a sexual night of passion and I can see why people are gay" - they'll soon realise that they're not annoying and upsetting ye and they'll find someone else as a source of amusement!
its not worth ending friendships over something as silly as this!

Why lose a friend over stupid gossip. Let it just die down it will . Or it could be a source of entertainment for years to come. I might consider losing the so called friends that started this rumor in the first place, they don't sound like good friends.

you are gay. No doubt about it! Any hetero male would not share a bed with another man. So, why do you care what people say. Be who you are, after all you said you had a great weekend.

i wouldnt go breaking contact with them as thats the way men are, you all wind each other up like that. they are jus teasing you to get a reaction, if it was them in his bed would they be saying the same. and they're showing no respect for your friend, so what if he's gay, doesnt mean he fancies you all, he's just as picky as everyone else! jus ignore what they say, they'll get bored after a bit

They're just joking. Would you honestly not wind them up if it had been one of them? It's not worth losing a friendship over. Join in with the banter and go along with it. They'll soon get bored.
