Well, it is your choice whether or not to sever the bond with him. I'm assuming you are a guy and he is hitting on your girlfriend? Just sit down and talk to her. Could it be possible that she is inviting this attention from him? Ignore him and talk to her. This is the only thing you can do.

What does your girlfriend think? If she thinks he is annoying to have her with you when you tell this "friend" to bite the dust!

u might think that hes annoying but ur gf may c him as a gentelman.
in both cases tell ur gfrnd that u r frnd wanna date her and c her reaction.
dont say that hes annoying just tell her his demand.

tell him you don't want to be bf/gf and if he cant accept this then you'll have to go your separate ways or just screw him for awhile then get rid of him
