If the Mayans could predict things like the end of the earth, where did they go?
There is a major event on the horizon, resulting from global warming. As polar ice and glacial ice melts, the mass is redistributed around the earth. This could alter the earth's rotational tilt angle, causing changes in the configuration of land masses and directions of ocean currents. This event could occur at any time, since the ice is melting more rapidly every year.

If Nostradamus predicted the arrival of the Antichrist in 1999 and I haven't seen whom this is why would I believe the world would end just because they couldn't continue their calendario? It could happen if the earth's axis really does shift or we get hit by a meteor or the sun burns out by then. These don't really sit well with scientific study tough. What do I know though? I say good day!

I have heard about this, but there is no scientific evidence to suggest this to be true. Why would it end? how can the world "end" anyway? Is it just going to vanish?

if it does it does, not a lot we can do about it.
No one knows about it as no one can tell the future.
This is not the end of days as lunatic bible readers are trying to say.
If the world ends it will be because george bush and the christian fundamentalists ended it

Depends on if Bush, Cheney, Rove, or Rumsfeld are still alive. Since they are utterly evil they may have something in store.

I have heard something to that effect, from a documentary on the Bible codes...I don't know if I really believe it, because the world is to end when the Lord comes to earth again...
