I found a girl at a library that I am attracted to. We talked to each other well. After dating for a 4 years, my dad finally recieved the family book line that goes all the way back to 32nd generation. After looking at lots of people with the 32nd generation, I found out that that girl that I have been dating is in my 32nd cousin. Help! My girlfriend and I fell deeply in love with each other already. I am serious. My family runs their own book about ALL their cousins. My girlfriend and I was going to marry March 2007 but I'm not sure if it is a good idea to marry a cousin though.

Hmm, I suggest you should go for it since we are all related if we go back 1000th generations and over.

Honey, there is no need to worry. Being that distance on the blood line everything will be just fine. I mean 32nd is like a long was back on the blood chain.
Get married, enjoy life, and God Bless you both

OUCH!!! That's messy! I knew a friend once who had similar case. Well, I wondered how didn't he found out earlier that he was dating his 4th cousin(not 32nd as you..) without noticing it? And I do wonder the same for you! You do not merry your own cousin dude! That's pretty sick! Lame! Ironic!
Simply let go... you'll both understand, for your own good!

Either if you do marry her, it will be like "flying with broken wings" for both of you! So you're the one to decide...

Date her, marry her, have kids. 32nd cousin is like no relation. If you lived in a smaller area, you could be dating people even closer thn that. Its like just being the same race.

In one way or another, we are all connected. Don't worry about it. Now, it would be different if she was your immediate or even 2nd cousin. But 32nd. Don't trip about it. Enjoy the married life!

32nd cousin, come on! it's like you are not even related. i'm sure that if we all studied real hard, we would find that we are all related some how or another down the line. don't fret over something so far fetched. love her? then marry her. i am from louisiana and our family trees down here look like stumps, don't stop us though!! lol

Wow! Think my friend. You are talking about Generations here. Its a lot of generations. To be honest with you I don't think that matters. Talk with your dad about it maybe that is not the only thing bothering him. If you love that person follow your plans. I will understand if she is your step sister or 1st or 2nd or 3rd cousin or other relative. It's your future here you are thinking about. Hope everything goes well.

32ND COUSINS?????? Who cares.....do what makes you happy. You hardly have any common blood. There are people that get married as second cousins.
