I found a girl at a library that I am attracted to. We talked to each other well. After dating for a 4 years, my dad finally recieved the family book line that goes all the way back to 32nd generation. After looking at lots of people with the 32nd generation, I found out that that girl that I have been dating is in my 32nd cousin. Help! My girlfriend and I fell deeply in love with each other already. I am serious. My family runs their own book about ALL their cousins. My girlfriend and I was going to marry March 2007 but I'm not sure if it is a good idea to marry a cousin though.

Hmm, I suggest you should go for it since we are all related if we go back 1000th generations and over.

The 32nd generation is like not being related at all. I think if we all went back that far we are related to people we would have never guessed. Love you girlfriend and marry her. There really is not problem here. congratulations to both of you and good luck.

If everyone had access to this sort of information, a lot of people would find out they are related to the 32nd generation or closer. That is quite removed, I wouldnt worry about it!

Hey buddy, you must really be off the tracks , a 32 nd cousin !!!! its only bad if its a 1 st or a 2 nd cousin and in many countries prohibited by law. Other than that, the info in that book means absolutely zip !!, or not to you and your girlfriend in any case.

32nd cousins are too high a number to count as a cousin, don't worry about it.

That is so far removed that there is absolutely no reason why you can't marry her and have a great life together.

Go ahead and marry her. Being that far removed, you should not have any problems or concerns.
