Doesn't it undermine our democratic process to mobilize religious voters with analogies to Lucifer? What would Republicans say if a similar statement was made about them?

How very Medieval this country is becoming. So called "responsible spokespersons" are referring to religious icons to describe political figures.

Being just as idiotic as Fallwell, I would say that, on looks alone, Condoleeza looks more like the devil than does Hillary.

Some Christian Jerry Falwell is. Hugo Chavez isn't even an American, so this just puts the hating neocons in their real place. Political propaganda always with the uneducated. They sure don't like being shown up do they, and the U.N. applause over their looser Republican President just allowed this mad man Jerry Falwell to open his mouth and insult somebody else. I remember when Larry Flint took this createn to Supreme Court and won the verdict for slander once before. I believe Hillary should do the same since Jerry Falwell has a record for insulting other human beings with his so called Christian beliefs.

Whether you like it or not, its called Freedom of Speech and many Americans fought and died for that right. In there is Freedom of Religion and he and any one else, Baptist, Catholic, Presbiterian can voice their concerns and beliefs about an elected offical. BUT, that statement is no different than allowing the Devil himself from Iran and Venezuela, into the US to address the UN and say the same things about Bush.

Whether you like Bush or not, he has a difficult job. Look at the photos of each of the past Presidents, before and after office. White hair, wrinkled face, worn out from all the stress. While I am not a Clinton fan, Somalia and Bosnia took its toll, along with Monica. Bush stepped into his job and within a short amount of time, had 911. All the Democrats pointed fingers at him, saying he did it, it was his fault.

If you read the reports from the commisson, it was a lot of Presidential faults, back to the early 80's. The only positive thing about Hillary, we know she is a liberal, we know she doesnt know anything about health care because of her botched plan, and she is a forgiving person, look at Bill.
My only concern is would she be tough enough on terror? would she stand up to these countries who thumb their nose at us and continue on doing what ever it is they are doing, like Iran and North Korea? What would she do if on her watch, if someone exploded a dirty bomb say in Houston, Los Angeles, or Chicago??

Electing a new President isnt black and white, liberal or conservative, its what is GOOD FOR AMERICA!!!! Until they answer that one, I show outrage to all politicans who, by their nature, cant tell the truth.

Falwell did not actually call Hillary the Devil. He just said having her on the ballot would have the same affect on voter turnout as the Devil.

So what's the big deal? With the amount of liberal irrational blind hatred in the 2004 election, you could say having Bush on the ballot mobilized the liberal base as if you had had the Devil on the ballot.

Granted Jerry Falwell is a little bit nuts, but the devil isn't. He'd avoid Hillary Clinton like the plague.

Falwell is a twit. We really never paid much attention to that guy, anyway. He's too in love with the sound of his own voice. Fire away all you want at him.

You won't find many conservative fawning protectors of Falwell, unlike the numerous lefties who protected and fawned over Chavez.

Seriously dude, did you honestly expect the Religious Right to jump up and criticize one of their own. Besides, Chavez just called Bush the devil, so now we have one and they have one. Hillary is going to make a fine president.
