"Sir Paul. Would you go down on one knee again?"

Maybe only if the divorce is very costly, and maybe after a few years. He was probably very vulnerable when they got together and there were a few eyebrows raised at the time as to what her motives might have been. As it turns out it was the best day's work she'll ever do in the respect that she'll get a lucrative settlement out of McCartney. It now looks like she was a bit of a gold-digger really, and her seedy past has caught up with her.

He loved her at the time - but she has a nasty temper. She got married along the road from where I live and she was rude to guests and staff!
Paul was a real gent!
Don't think he will admit it was a mistake, all part of lifes big learning curve.

I think he loved her at the time and he was probably rather lonely as a widower - and she is attractive - so it wasn't a mistake then. Actually, he can afford to lose a few million pounds - how much money does one person need?! - so it's not a mistake to divorce her and give her money either

Well I think he genuinly loved her. He just couldnt see that he was being used.
It is such a shame, because of the wonderful relationship he had with Linda, I guess it's really difficult for him to find someone that would even come close to that.
Even more difficult now - How will he trust anyone?

Course he wasn't! She's puke. A viler person you're never gonna meet.
I think, privately, he'd admit it was a huge mistake. It almost cost him his relationship with his, almost as vile, daughter Stella.
In fact, I hate them all. "Change them to 'McCartney/Lennon'", dear oh dear...

I don't know either of them really so i wouldn't like to comment.
However she does come across as having a HUGE chip on her shoulder, and she isn't as pretty as she thinks she is.

He has a daughter now so regrets would be bad for the kid. Good luck to him finding someone not after his money.
