I would leave if I were you. Any man who hits a woman is psychologically messed up in the brain... he needs professional help! On top of that, any man is a straight pu$$y if he needs to "prove his manliness (or lack thereof) on a poor defenseless woman (or child, or old person... you get the picture)! "Fight someone your own size!"
I was in an abusive relationship, and "hoped things would get better".... lmao That was NEVER going to happen, and I mean NEVER. It just got worse and worse. It was like every time he beat me, it was just him testing my limits... trying to see how far he could go without me calling the police on him or trying to fight back.
I think it got at its worst when he pulled his shotgun on me... yeah, that ended badly.... ANYWAY, leave baby. He won't change for anyone. And yes, "anyone" includes you, too.
