I'm a fan of gold and I always will be. I usually by a lot of yellow gold, but I have started to buy more white gold also because I find it very beautiful. If I was to have an engagement ring I would go with the white gold. It looks very stunning and a lot more elegant in white gold.

depends on the diamond. if its grade d then any. if anything less than D then it must be white gold because yellow from the gold will be picked up in the diamond and thats just very low class

It depends on your taste. Currently white gold is more popular, but according to my source in a local jewelry store, yellow gold is regaining its popularity.

I like yellow but try on the two golds to see which you prefer. Also if you have a lot of one color jewelry that you like you may want to stick with that color.

white is trendy now... but i think classic is classy long term... 24carat sounds good to me! But since you have to wear it (hopefully also long term!) why dont you choose what you like the most, the one that you have the most feeling for... i think when you see the type, style of ring you want then you'll know which gold you want it in!
