It is definitely o.kay.
I have alot of female friends and i'm surprised at how many of my mates also shave their sacks.
I think i can see the connection you are trying to make about shaving and anorexia nervosa.
It's a body image thing.
Trying to look good, and feel smooth in your jockies won't have any bad ramifications, other than an itch if you don't keep up the shaving.
I guess it's like shaving your face and getting a hair cut. You do it too look good and feel great, wanting to be neat won't cause an eating disorder.
Usually anorexia nervosa is caused by people who feel a lack of control, have emotional problems, or feel fat.
Shave and be free.
You and your partner will probably fight over who gets to fondle them first.

Anorexia nervosa is an EATING disorder. I don't see how there could be a connection with shaving one's pubic hair.

It's perfectly alright for a male or female to shave their pubic hair. But as it grows back it will itch, so be sure once you start to shave that you keep it up. It has nothing to do with eating disorders that is a whole different problem.

Keep your pubic hair natural. All guys that trim/shave look very similar down there. In its natural state, each guy has an individual look due the the texture, color, length, and pattern of the pubic hair. And I've never had any complaints about all my pubic hair.

Just trim it. It would be itchy if the pubes started sprouting. Anorexia nervosa has nothing to do with a shaved pubes.

I'm not sure how you think the two would be related. What about cutting hair would cause an eating disorder?

Most adult men trim or shave their pubic hair, just as most women do (or should!)

It's all right, but it's a kinda dumb thing to do. It itches and it looks ridiculous. It will not cause an eating disorder.
