I hate that it's men that are at war but that everyone suffers.
But women refusing to talk poitics is not the answer. The answer is for women to talk MORE politics, get informed, get involved, do something about the fact that the world is run by men. It's an uphill struggle, but the suffragettes got us halfway there. Now we need to fight to get into parliament, get women into high political positions, make it just as likely for a woman to be the next PM as a man. It is literally obscene that it would be an unusual and shocking event if another woman should run the UK (I am aware of Thatcher before people start getting snotty about that, but a one off like that proves nothing)
It's still a man's world, but that is partly because women are letting it remain that way. We have a fight on our hands, ladies. But if we're not up to it then nothing will ever change.
By the way, to the person who answered "your thick, learn to spell before you talk politics" I presume you mean "You're thick." Learn to punctuate before you criticise other people.

I disagree. I talk with women every day who have strong thoughts and views on politics. Also, you are adding to your own perception of the problem by refusing to talk about politics now and in the future. How can women be or remain peace-keepers by keeping quiet?? Doesn't work that way. Silence = Nothing!

With equal opportunitys today, all men out there must accept that the female being is on a equal. Lots of women today are proofing that they can do a man job. So give three cheers to all women who proof this. Margret Thatcher was once a leading PM and rein for a very long time.

I know very little about politics in comparison to many of my female friends and not afraid to say so, it's not an issue and I doubt I am alone in saying so among the male species. I consider the wars in the world the instigation of war mongerers and it has little to do with their sex. It's an odd question to ask when we had a long serving FEMALE prime minister who went to war with Argentina, The Working class in many guises, The Scottish, Gay people etc etc. I consider myself and many other guys to be Peace loving, but do tell more about "Piece Keeping", I'm intrigued??

The "piece" keepers????
If you are going to try to claim some intellectual superiority then you should at least spell correctly and use proper grammar.
Maybe, it's not all men.... maybe it's just the men talking to you because based on your question you're obviously "challenged".

That statement makes you sound like a Barbie doll. Politics as we know it today is definitely male created (for better or worse) so it is closer to our thinking than woman's. I wouldn't disagree that an entirely female doctrine could make a better world to live in. That said, if it wasn't for us men, you would be living in a world devoid of 90% of today's technological, scientific and medical achievements.

Just look over history. Many politicians have been male and very few have been female. It's just normal for men to believe that we are all knowing about politics. We just want to show our dominance of women.

Men think they are superior with alot of things. Aswell as politics there is driving, cars, sports etc.
I tell you what they are too cowardly to do though..................... Take things back to shops or complain to shops or businesses, sort out finances and run a home!
If it wasn't for us women they would be right up **** creek!!!

mmm there are a few holes in your argument. One you can't spell so why would we want someone that can't spell in politics, imagine someone trying to run a county let alone a country( and spellchecker is a new thing) and if you don't want to talk about it..go and put a question about it on the net.
