I'm from the Philippines. I am 6 weeks and 5 days pregnant. My baby is due sometime May 2007. I will be leaving for Canada on January 2007. Will I be able to land a job in Canada in my condition?

In Canada, Employers are not allowed to discriminate against pregnant women. You also do not need to tell potential employers that you are pregnant. Keep the pregnancy to yourself until you have been employed for a few months. Good luck.

just don't tell them i started a job at 4 mon. pregnant and they never said anything to me they cant fire u because your pregnant also if u plan on getting maternity leave have to work so many hours so i wouldn't waste no time GL with the baby

If they have a babie r us you can al=pply there, they are pregnant friendly,. I always see ladies working there with big bellies.,

dont tell them.........they cant base your ability to do a job on that condition anyway.......its called EQUAL OPPORTUNITY!
