I've got these friends & one/both are acting weird. We'll call this one, Mike, yelled at me the other day. The other one we'll call Matt, is ignoring me completely. My b-day is coming up this wk & I planned a bash. Well, I canceled it b/c they are being jerks. Matt said, "Well, I'm going to Texas this coming weekend (my b-day)" After he promised me that he was going. Then Mike is the one that yelled at me for no reason just b/c I haven't paid a ticket before. That's why I canceled it. Now, either one of them will talk to me and all of this happened last week. I've send Matt some message through e-mail and text, but he won't reply or anything. . I also told Matt, after having a few drinks, that I won't talk to or see them this week. .Now, he won't talk to me or anything. .I've even sent a message telling him that I want to do something for my b-day this week, like grill or something. & that I'm sorry for saying that in the e-mail. He hasn't returned anything . .What do I do? Help!!!!!

HEre is som more. Matt had some problems last year and I was there for him during my b-day . So this year, I wanted to have some fun for once on my b-day b/c things were ruined last year & every year before that. We've been through so much and we're there for each other when things get really crazy. My mom thinks that Matt was joking & that he is going to show up. Oh, & I told Matt about another guy that is taking me out for a b-day dinner this wk & he really doesn't like this guy b/c he knows that this guy really really likes me even though I don't like him (He is annoying). So now, do you see what in the world is going on. There are a lot of other things but it would take way too long to tell. One more thing: Matt was telling me to make myself happy and do what I want to do. So should I message him & tell him, "I wanted to have fun on my b-day but you guys ruined it."

Maybe they are pulling your chain and are planning a surprise for you b-day I hope if not I'm not .....you need to sit them both down and talk to them and ask them hat is going on w/ the 3 of you.

They don't seem like firends at all, don't cancel the party for no one..it's ur birthday u must enjoy urself.
They are leaving you coz they know that u can't have a party without them but just show them that you can.
Just because some unloyal friends say that they don't want to come to ur brithday and you cancel it, when u could have been out with some family or hanging out with ur cousins in a disco party or tell ur anutys that u need to have this party coz u wanna enjoy urself before comin' old.
Trust me waiting on some jerks and saying sorry doesn't look like they gonna turn around.
Have fun and when they come around...just say that u don't need them coz if there where ur friends they will be there for u even if u ignored them.
Don't worry be happy..lol..Smile ur birthday is comin' in a week.

first off , so 2 friends get int oa fight with you and you cancel your birthday because of this ... STUPID FREAKIN YOU !
Who cares the ydont show up!
You are the one who planed it and was gonna be the main honored guest , get it NOT them.
They want to act like lil kids fine ltet them , you go ahead with life , let is pass them by NOT YOU . If you did nothing wrong wh yare you punishing yourself ?
Oh Yeah you allowed those 2 so called friends play the GUILD TRIP GAME on you and it worked !
Dont let it , plan your birthday , surely you have more then 2 friends , if they dont want to be around you for your birthday then guess what -THEY ARE NOT FRIENDS !

Some guys break up with a girl before a holiday or birthday so they will not have to spend money on them. Maybe this is the same kind of thing even though they are not your BF. Be interstin to see what happens after your birthday..Hm.....?

wow... or they are planing a surprise party for you, or there is something going on...i say : try to ask them what is happening, y r they acting like that and stuff and ask an explanation. u really need one... oh!... and have your b-day party, u don't have to cancel a birthday party because of that... think positive... that's what i do... got kinda same problem, a bit different... i just ask what did i do for such behaviour of their part, and do not stop your plans... u will regret later

Sounds like they are being jerks. I would just go celebrate my birthday with someone else. Don't let them know it is bothering you. Sounds like they both need to grow up!
