You'll probably get a 50-50 split on this, because the two characters are archetypes of different "kinds" of comedy - the verbal wit and sarcastic sociology on the one hand, and the purely visual, universally appealing business on the other.

For my money, I'll take Blackadder every time - while I appreciate the skill and humour inherent in Mr Bean, it rarely makes me laugh, but that's probably just because I'm a verbally-focused person. Atkinson himself is a phenomenally skilled practitioner of both kinds of comedy, so whichever people prefer, they're getting diamond-quality examples of the art.
