How do I find a users I.P. address from an email sent to me?

I need to find this users I.P. address because he is using a church's comp. to find women for sex.

Through email? Can't be done.

If he is using the church's computer, the IP address would be that of the church computer. I don't see where this would be of help to you.

Playing dectective, couldn't the women set their options, if they are using Yahoo Mail, to show the "full header" when receiving e-mail. I do this. Then, when I receive offensive e-mail, I carefully (underline carefully) open the e-mail and select and copy the whole e-mail and whole header, open a new message, paste in the message box, and send it to a site which researches abuse.

In order for abuse researchers to trace the offender, they need the whole header. Simply forwarding the abusive e-mail will not do it.

Here's hoping you catch him. Have you considered setting up a security camera in the office?

Look in the header of the email. The location on how to view it depends on your email client.

Also, if it's spam it could be a spoof that looks like it came from a church's website.
