There is a couple options. One you can go after him. Tell him your feelings. however chances are you will lose that fight, and he will dispise you for it. However, if he does drop his lover for you, would you really want to be with someone who would do that? Chances are he would do it to you also.
Best thing here is become his friend. Build a good friendship with him. If something ever happens to his current relationship, then you will be there for him. You will knwo him better than most and you probably can suceed in gaining him as your lover in the end.

Those that win by deception also lose that way in the end.
Either move on, or simply watch. I'd never intentionally attempt to interfere in someone elses relationship, bad, bad karma.

All you can do now is be a friend and hope that if one day it turns sour, you are there as a shoulder to cry on and maybe eventually more

Dont ever fall in love with someone who is not in love with you! I realize thats not really your choice but, think about it. It will not feel good when he tells you he loves someone else

Is he in love with you? If not, move on. Do not waste your time. Or try to make him hate the other guy ;)
