There is a real problem with young adults rushing to try sex. Unwanted pregnancy, disease, emotional hurt often follow. Its so much better and far mor enjoyable to wait until you are truely emotionally bonded to a partner and know you are mature enough to be doing it before having sex. Masturbation is not sex or a substitute. You can have either, neither or both. It is however safer than premature or unprotected sex. It is very pleasureable, releases sexual tensions and teaches a young adult about their bodies. Unless you have religious problems with it masturbation at any age is good news.

For every adolescent in here -stick with masturbation- at least you won't get a disease, get pregnant, or get someone pregnant, get cervical cancer (Ladies, from multiple partners), have to deal with birth control, plus the lying and sneaking around involved. I am not trying to tell you wait until you are thirty but for goodness sake enjoy having a simpler life. You will be an adult for a very long time and there are a lot of responsibilities that come with sex. It's not just the physical stuff either- there's also all the emotional baggage and broken hearts, enjoy your teenage years and focus on the important stuff, school, family and friends. Save the rest until your mind and body are more ready for it.

Masturbation is fun because you can use your imagination and only worry about yourself. Having sex for the first time in a long time is wonderful as you get all tingly from not being touched and what not. I also enjoy sex under the influence. It puts a whole new meaning behind sex.

Girls tend to like mastrubation better. Sex, which is the actual act, is in and out real quick. Foreplay or making love is a different story, but that's not sex. That's external stimulation which is much like mastrubation.
Sex also makes babies and can cause diseases. Plus they have to look at most of you or all of you, which means they make discovers many girls would rather they didn't, like what your hair color actually is!
