The judge can do one of two things. One he can postpone the trial date and set a new date. (This is unlikely, with the circumstances you have presented.) Or the judge can hold the trial without him. Your ex will have a short timeframe to appeal the decisions but since he failed to appear will probably have no voice. Just relax and you will make it through this tough day. Good luck to you.

Ask away cuz whatever you want the judge will most likely give to you cuz he's not there to debate whether or not you deserve it...Since he's not coming get as much as the law allows in spousal support and child support...if he's hurt you then make sure that he cant see the kids until he goes thru some type of counseling...good luck

If you have filed for divorce, in most states it is not necessary for him to appear in court. As long as he has signed the papers it should be pretty smooth. If he contests the divorce, then it can be drawn out and much harder, but given what you have said, he is probably not going to fight it, just let it happen...Good luck and stay safe...

THE DIVORCE PROCEEDINGS WILL CONTINUE WITH OR WITHOUT HIS PRESENCE....Do you have an attorney? If not I would get one. He is responsible for paying a portion of the fee's. It sounds like you are doing the right thing in leaving. He sounds like a very angry man and things were bound to get worse.
Good luck.

I think that if he doesn't show you get what you want but he has to have been served his papers. That is the trick here as long as he has been served with his court papers and he doesn't show you don't have anything to worry about . It would be the best thing for you. Good luck
