I was sexually abused by my stepfather for 10 years and now that I have got out and started my own family I am finding that when my feonsee and I are making love I don't want any control or have any say in what we do, is this normal for someone who has been abused??? I am so confused with this and so is my partner. Can someone help me.

There is nothing abnormal about not wanting control in the bedroom. You do not need counseling for that, the only thing you need counseling for is if you feel that you havent been able to get over the abuse issues.

you need to see someone about this, but my thought on it is....try (as hard as it might be) just one good time to be in control and you might get the hang of it..
