OH boy...
This site has people on it from all different walks of life, all over the world. Just as sure as there are some "crude or obnoxious" people in your neighborhood or in your town and maybe even in your family, there will be plenty of people on here like that just the same. For God's sake, ignore it or just give em thumbs down, but don't think twice about it. It really ain't worth it, if that's how they are. IT doesn't change YOUR character one bit, does it? So whats the use trying to figure it out?

phycologists have noted that some humans feel that it helps them feel more confident in their answers and mentally fills their gap of inadiquacy,cursing while answering a question can also compell someone that is not accustomed to that kind of language accept their answer ,but the core of it all has to do with untreated anger and selfesteem that goes on untreated for a long time hence following generations can follow suit or reject this trend in our society,some people that do not know better find it socially acceptable ,the level of tolerance today is almost total since young kids as early as & tears old are using foul language in their vocabulary,try doing that in the 1940,s and they would be beaten from the place of the incident until they reach home.

Some people think by using crude words there is a comic shock value to it, however many times it comes off hateful and ignorant.
It is like the old saying, if you don't have something nice or useful to say, don't say it at all.

I do it sometimes...well not with crude language, but sometimes it is necessary to be a smart aaasss when people ask stupid questions.

Profanity is the literary equalizer of the ignorant. Generally people with poor grammar and small vocabularies rely on profanity.

Their vocabulary is extremely limited hence, they have to resort to using foul language.

I think it all comes down to upbringing.Some grew up in such unbelievable surroundings and to them thats the way things are done sad really.coz some reactions/responses are uncalled for.

Because profanity is the crutch of the ignorant. If these people could express themselves eruditely they wouldn't need to stoop to those methods.

Just becoz they dont have any answer to your question.
And they dont have calibre/ intelligence/ right language/right attitude to answer in decent way.

Because they haven't got enough intelligence to think of anything, constructive, insightful or funny.
