So many colleges offer geology. Just here in Georgia, there's Georgia State University, University of Georgia, Georgia Perimeter College, State University of West Georgia, and probably a half a dozen more that I can't think of off the top of my head. Plus, Emory has a degree in Environmental Studies, with mainly geologists as their faculty. Just devote some time to researching on any college website, and you should be able to figure out whether a college has a geology degree. You'll find that most colleges of any size have geology degrees.

If you are still in high school, your guidance counselor can probably help you figure out which schools have the geology programs that might be the best fit for you. From personal experience, I know that Lehigh University historically has a strong geology program. A cursory internet search suggests that Indiana University (Purdue University, Indianapolis), Eastern Washington University, Western Michigan University, and Southern Illinois University Carbondale have well known programs in the field, though I can't speak to the quality of the instruction. Really, your best bet is to speak with an education professional.

The U of South Dakota host a site that has every geoscience dept link in the US and Canada. I would check out the homepage of several, and each should have information on applying. Also, each page will have emphases in the department and give you a feel for their attitude.

Be sure to apply to several, of varing quality. At many schools, geology enrollment is down, so you may be a wanted commodity-use that to your advantage.

Good Luck!

If in India, then you should try to do them in IITs. And for this you have to face entrance exam to get admission into the course. So be prepared for it while studying in graduation. Also you can get some previous year entrance exam questions and prepare accordingly, which will make your job easier. You can try the following link
