isnt that a slight contradiction in terms because nobody should be earning under the minimum wage anyway. and if it comes to the governments attention shouldnt they act on the employers to raise their wage?

No, I think that the government should stay out of regulating the price structure of any business. This is America and minimum wage should be just that. It is a wage not to live on but to start out at. It is the right for the individual to smarten up and go out and get a good education so that, that individual can get a job better than minimum wage. If you are earning minimum wage it is your doing, if you are uneducated. Not the governments responsibility.

No. I think that those working for less than minimum wage either get educated and find a better job, become a LEGAL Alien resident, or report their employer to the better business bureau.

No, no free anything to anyone. It is not free and it is not my problem that someone cannot afford something. Where do you stop? Then it would be free housing, food, etc. I am not willing to pay for someone else. If they do not make enough money, get another job, start a business. Tax payers should not have to foot the bill.

No, but I do think that if the airlines want to keep going and stop getting bail out aid from the Feds it shoudlstart reducing some of it fares, they have reduced food etc, why not the fares, If you reduce the fares then maybe more people would fly and wwe wouldn't need to give them so much in aide.

I think that sounds like a very good idea. It would give those people the ability to travel around the UK to engage on educational courses and interviews for better jobs.

Huh? The government give away 'free' stuff. All the money for that 'free' government stuff is forcibly taken, under threat of imprisonment, from the pockets of taxpayers.

Taxpayer = someone who took advantage of educational and work opportunities to make something of themself.

Do you mean "unemployed"? It can't be a "minimum wage" if you get paid less - can it?
