The area around my belly button when I push it feels hard. I'm quite small (around 24 inch waist), but I know I'm not developing abs. Could this be an early pregnancy sign or something more serious like a tumor?

Early signs of pregnancy are:
breast tenderness
slight fatigue and faintness
queasiness and nausea
minor weight gain
missed period

If your stomach's feeling hard that means you might be a couple months along. If you're worried about it go and get a home pregnancy test kit and take it and see if you are indeed pregnant and if it's something else go to the doctor and have them check it out.

Early on the fetus is so microscopic that it cant even be detected by ultrasound, much less create a bulde in your stomach. Have it checked out please.
