It is called uninstalling process. Go to start menu-control panel and then the Add or Remove Programs there u will see the list of all the programs installed in your computer. If you want the program completely gone from your computer, take the following steps:
Click "Start"

for WinXP, goto control panel/add&remove programs.

Alternatively, some programs have their own unistaller - just go to Start/All Programs, and then look for the one you want to uninstall, and run their uninstaller if they have one.

Sometimes this doesn't remove everything and you'll have to delete some stuff manually, usually just the program folder. This can be found at C:\Program Files, and then look for a folder with the name of the company that made the software you want to remove, and just manually delete this. But make sure you've done one of the other two above first.

All these people are wrong. First, open the program. When it has loaded, you have to open up the rear guard on the hard drive. You should be able to see some circuit boards. you will need to remove these with a hammer and chisel. Once these are removed you shouldn't have any problems with that program again. No prob.
