I've lost touch with an expat friend I met in Penang, Malaysia. He has a hobby of designing Gameboy Advance games. Last I recall, he was hoping to study film and be a stuntman/action hero. He also has a little sister who was 14 at the time with curly hair and glasses.

I would like to contact him if I can for reasons known only to myself and my intellectual friend. If anyone can offer any information, it would be helpful.

*sigh* He, hopefully, would remember working on a tentative video game idea with a Samuel Low and another friend. He used to go to my church when he was in Malaysia. I would think that he would be about 21-22 years of age now.

Thanks, guys, I found him!

I thought of searching on youtube since he wanted to study film and was pleasantly to find not only an amateur filmmaker with that name but an id that he would normally use.

(How freaky is that statement? I've been watching too many FBI shows. Maybe I should be a profiler :P)

Anyway, fudge4two, I guess the right answer is consider what you know about him and check several online communities and see what you unearth. I got lucky on youtube because I knew he had a passion for making films. Maybe you can use something like that to help you especially if the person is internet-savvy. If not, well... good luck.

I found a Matthew Campbell on this blog page. He seems to be from Stellerton, Nova Scotia. Give it a try. Whatever happens, hope you connect with him.
