I thought the whole point of it was for Squiggle to still have a father? Did I miss the point? Pleas someone explain. Thanks

It's illogical!
The script writers seem to delight in setting up situations based on an almost complete lack of communication (hence "suprise" parties/weddings etc. that fall flat, no one telling anyone else what has happened / how they feel etc.).
It's all been done before. Eastenders has become a pathetic "comedy of errors" without much humour.

I don't think that she should have stood up in court, and as for access to his child you cannot lawfully keep a child away from any parent unless there is a valid reason (which this wasn't). Children have rights to see their parents, parents have responsibilities to the child to make sure that the child sees both parents where possible. Anyway it's only TV.

cos she is a victim and was manipulated by her daughter as well as the husband and mother in law, she keeps trying to do what is the right thing, hence keeping him away.
