While I agree with you.... you really haven't asked a question, you gone on a tirade. Which I try to avoid.
But yes, the ACLU and liberals in general need to be viewed as destructive. They should be to some degree, feared by rational people regardless of your political affiliation.

No one has to fear the ACLU if you don't mind giving up your rights. Hey, it was the ACLU that helped get prayer out of school, working on getting " In God We Trust" off our money, the 10 Commandments out of the court house and city halls, and yes, even getting rid of " Merry Christmas" and replacing it with " Seasonal Greetings".
With far left wing groups like this, WE are the ones always wrong, We don't know what we are doing, WE need guidance and direction, WE have to always have someone look after our best interests, and WE, the tax payers, support them when they win a case because they always collect fees.
Until WE get off our butts and take responsibility for our actions, until WE contact our elected officials and tell them their job is in jeopardy unless and until they make things right with this country, until WE decide we have had enough of give until it hurts, then pay some more, the liberal steam roller will roll merrily along.
When I say LIBERAL, i also include anyone who fits that bill, Democrat, Republican or anyone else. I am a Conservative Democrat and believe I can handle my own finances and don't need the Government telling me what to do with my money.
God, where is JFK when you need him, he was a Conservative Democrat too. Oops, bad me, I mentioned God and a well Loved President all in the same sentence.
