First conrats to the Steelers players and their fans. We love to taunt each other (so fun) but the truth is this game could have gone either way...make NO mistake about it, the Steelers will tweak what is wrong and they will be in the mix of things in the end...I think this division will come down to the last game here in Cincinnati.
Let's hope this is the kind of football we can all enjoy for the next few years...smash-mouth in your face football we love!

Honestly I'm a Steelers fan, but that game was freakin' awesome! The Bengals played their a** off! No lie! The Steelers were hitting hard (ask the guy who got laid out by the safety!), the Bengals were hitting back - Joey Porter and Chad Johnson jawing it up! It was all that could be expected from Football! Hard hits, spectacular plays, defense, offense - did I mention the bone jarring hits! Great game. Just wish Rothlisberger will get his butt in gear and start making those good passes again. 3 int's won't win the game for ya. Bengals have a really good chance this year - stingy defense, potent offense. Carson Palmer is all the difference to that team. Later.

The Stealers (who stole the championship 2 times in the playoffs last year) got served. Yeah, it was close for a while, and hey, they tried to make a run for it in the end, but in the end, the better team won. And believe it, the Bengals are defiantely the better team, and thats with their injuries and suspensions. The Stealers might somehow recover (maybe), but the Bengals are going to dominate the AFC North again this season. Stealers only chance is going to be the wildcard, and then some key injuries and help from the officials to have any chance to repeat.

I would say it was a nice payback. Wasn't it the Steelers that knocked the Bengals out of the playoffs and took out their quarterback last season? Of course, I was pulling for the Steelers, I like Big Ben!!

He is told he's very lucky because most people dont get their own house. Ben is all excited and every thing, when he looks down the street and see's a HUGE mansion with Bengal's stuff all over. Ben is now mad and goes to God and says, "Why does Carson Palmer get a HUGE mansion?"

yeah but it went the way that i new it would have to the better team bengals. big up to the steelers and thier fans but this is a new year and i don't think they will make it back to the supper bowl any time soon .

unfortunately i was not able to watch the game so by what I ahve read it was close game.
too bad ben played like poop and special teams play plagued us.
either its normal or something the steelers dont seem to take too much stock in but anytime anyone is returning a punt or receiving one against the steelers i get scared....

I just want to say one thing as a die-hard Steeler fan. Before I read the rest of your blog, I was going to go off about the Bengals. After reading it, I was pleasantly surprised.
