Yes America was completely behind Clinton over the overspending of the Conservatives before him. Nixon was the last to even try to balance the budget, but Clinton proved to Americans we could have reserves that Bush spent in 6 months of his Presidency. Inflation is always the results. Facts are perfectly clear to home owners when their mortgages double, or they loose their homes to bankruptcy.

First of all, people need to understand the deficit. Our Government, spends more than it takes in with taxes. Been doing that since it was formed. Also, we have a Trade deficit because we buy more and import it, than we sell over seas.

Neither of the two can be fixed real easy and until we make our elected officials accountable for their spending, nothing will happen. You can point fingers all day long and blame the President, but Bush1, Clinton, and Bush 2, Along with every other President since Johnson, have been spend spend spend.

Only two ways to fix this.

1. Stop spending money you don't have Congress. Wont happen cause of the war, cause of increase security, cause of welfare, cause of Katrina, Rita and several other storms we are still paying for.

2. Raise TAXES!!!!!! You know how far that will go. That is the only thing that will pull Americans together and stand up to the elected jokers in DC.

When you want to buy something, like a new car, most of us have to look and see if we can afford it. Congress don't, they

Hillary has incredibly HIGH NEGATIVES, which billary never did (not a typo). and shes already had her 2 terms. yes, technically 'bill' was in office but we all know he was the p.r. guy hillary actually was running the country. Oh, by the way, not a neo con, they aren't actually conservative most of the time. (just look at all the spending they've done while in office) JENNY IS HOT, no lie, and it kills me that as hot as she is she's so wrong on this. Hillary is unelectable. realclearpolitics.com

"Its the economy stupid" and low and behold it was. Yes, but there is much hate for Hillary to over come. She is and has been the target of the Repuke hate machine for a long time. I personally would think that she would be a excellent president, she is strong, intelligent and not afraid to stand up for what is right, while I do not agree with her stance on the Iraqi war, I admire her for taking a stand. She is never been afraid to admit when she has been wrong either. Yes, she would have my vote.

The amount of ignorance in the world is sad. Clinton did not win in a landslide, and never got more than 50% of the popular vote. He got 43% in 1992 and 49% in 1996. Bush got 48% and 52%. The ONLY reason Clinton was elected was Ross Perot. He took votes away from the Republican candidates. If you add the votes Perot got to the Republicans, then either (Bush 41, Dole) would have beat Clinton.

History, facts, truth: do these mean nothing anymore?

That's not even necessary this time. The Shrub will screw up even more, so none of the Repubelican'ts will win.

Clinton didn't win by a landslide. In 1992 Clinton won with only 47% of the votes, he didn't even get half of the voters.

Although Answerman made a valid point that Hillary has a lot of hate to overcome, the most behement Hillary haters are within the Democratic party. She has got a slim chance of geting back into the White House because she will be totally eviscerated by her own party during the Democratic primaries. They will bring up all of the scnadals prior to 1992, such as White Water, and the Clinton era scandals, such as Vince Foster's "suicide".
