i would seek advise from a doctor or a chemist, but i believe paracetamol is safe to have and can ease any pains you have in your body, i remember when my wife was expecting and she had the same problems. as always i would seek professional help regarding this, as it not something to be taken lightly

Anyway hope you have a very nice good birth and both mother and child do well.

your nearly 5 months pregnant, that means usually no. however if it is back spasms, you might find deep heat doesnt work. but as your preganant it could be lower back pains which are really painful. unfortuantly all your allowed is 500mg paracetomal only.
you may even find a hot water bottle (not to hot) may do a similar job as deep heat as all it does is generate heat causing blood flow to the tissues.

but always confirm with the doc. in the meanwhile try BASIC parecetomal four times a day not taking more than 8 in a day.

GOOD LUCK.

Oh hunny... I hope it is not back labor coming up. That is how I was with my first one.

Get one of those Homedics massage machines instead, and use it where it hurts. Some have heat option, and pads with varying hardness.

I used to play a little trick with my baby and placed it right where he put his elbows and knees, pushing him out of there... only to have him slip into the same position minutes later! Hehehe...

Guess it made him a rebel. Today at 16, he still does the opposite of what I say :-/

i have 4 children and i always did, but dont take that as read, dont use an ibpufen based rub, an alternative are the heat patches that you can attatch to ur clothes, they stick on and warm through youre clothes, you will find them in the same section as deep heat
