Saddle soap or sometimes leather cleaner will remove the odor. Just rub it in. I would try the leather cleaner first. Call a local luggage retailer or shoe smith shop and ask if they have any, it`s pretty easy to find.

Here's a simple suggestion, but I'm not sure how well it would work with your watch. I've tried this method on stinky shoes and it's worked. Seal your watch up in some sort of container or plastic baggie with newsprint. The paper will absorb any moisture and the carbon in the paper will absorb any odors. I'd say leave it like that overnight and I expect the smell would be gone or at least diminished greatly.

Leather plus soap plus water equals to not good.
The first answer is a possible solution but as the saying goes, "prevention is better than cure", so I'd say take the watch off when you feel sweaty.
