I'm glad you asked this ? I was wondering about that myself. I think each one might think THEY will be the one to "get thru to the gays" and make them give up their lifestyle. They are under the impression you can "switch" back and forth. Well, you can't!

You cant call any of this "YOUR" section. The questions are posted in society and culture. If you strictly want affirmation of your lifestyle from other homosexuals, then why don't you find a gay chatroom. The questions you post here are open for anyone to view and answer, so if you are unhappy with the forum, perhaps you should go elsewhere. Also your statement shows that you are not just living an "alternate" lifestyle, but that you in fact, are the bigot. You criticize everyone who doesn't like your choices as being predjudiced , and then you lump everyone into having no life and sexuality issues. So if everyone isn't like you, they are wrong. So really you are a "heterophobe".

We're not. When you first post a question anywhere, in any category, it shows up in the "general" category for about a day. So everybody sees it whether they go to 'your section' or not.

OK, this is your section. Fine. But it doesn't change the fact that Yahoo doesn't just post your question in your section. They post it in my section too (and everybody elses section), so whom ever wants to get to toss in their two bits worth even if they are totally unaware that the Gay section exists.

I'm not in your section as you put it, the question comes up on the main page that's where I always look. And why would you want to make yourself as bad as the people who allegedly hate your lifestyle by mocking theirs. I don't have sexuality issues but it sounds like you have a serious chip on your shoulder over something. Lighten up a bit.

you got part of the answer already. some have nothing better to do. some have sad lives and it probably gives them a sick ego boost to rip on others. and I some of them act that way here because they know if they said such horrible things to people face to face (whether it's homophobic, racist, etc) they'd probably get their butts kicked.
it all stems from ignorance and fear.
