In America, wearing a ring on your "ring" finger (the one immediately right of your pinkie on your left hand) means your married. Wearing a ring on any (or every) other finger you have just means you're trash.

Don't really know other than the fact in my part of the world it means that you are the new rich and still need some enculturalisation to how to handle money.
