We have noisy neighbours too. I f they live in a rented property contact the landlord or council. Don't let them drive you out of your home. Also the environmental health folks will help. If all else fails tell them youre **** off with them and to shut the *** up.

You don't say when or how noisy they are.
However, environmental health would be a good first call.
Normally they check the current noise level,s o it's best not to warm your neighbours that they are coming!

Go over and introduce yourself. Ask them questions about how they are and how the family is. Suggest that you get together sometime for a friendly dinner or barbecue. Be really nice. Super nice.
Explain that the noise is very disturbing to you and ask politely if they would please keep it down. Thank them. the next day go out and buy a Thank You Card sweetly thanking them for keeping being good neighbors and keeping the noise down.
They will either be too embarrassed to keep up the noise or they will be nasty and do it anyway. In the second case, call the police.

Knock on their door and politely say, it's hard for me to rest because of all the noise. If you don't mind, could you please try to quiet down a bit in the evening.

Don't know why on earth you should think of moving homes because of noisy neighbours. That's a bit extreme.

Call the police after 10 o' clock at night. There is a noise ordinance here after 10pm. Found out what it is in your area. If it is yelling the police will check it out to see why they are yelling. If it is music they will tell them to turn it down. If you call often enough they will give them a sitation for the noise. Dogs barking and all. Why should you have to move. You may move and have more problems at the next place. We have a quiet neighborhood because I have called on my neighbors and THEY HAVE MOVED.

It turns out to be a really stressful experience. If you can go thats what I'd do. Its all very well people saying that you shouldn't be bullied etc but its just not worth the stress in the long run and
there is not much you can do apart from calling the cops etc and this just brings bad vibes, so really if you can , just go. Good luck!!!

CALL THE POLICE!!! I've done it before. The cops are very good about not letting them know it was you who made the call. If your neighbors are causing a disturbance of ANY sort...even if its during the day, the cops WILL pay them a visit. It worked pretty well for me.
