Puerto Rico is very split about statehood, that's why the votes for it are so close.
I'd personally vote no. They don't pay taxes, and the have most of the rights that an Americans has.

Because too many people don't know their geography, mostly because it isn't taught in schools anymore. And yes it's a country.
