"Imagination is more important than knowledge." This famous quote from Albert Einstein applies here because you are talking about an act of creativity. And, all creative endeavors spring from the imagination.

I suggest you read:
"The Einstein Factor: A Proven New Method for Increasing Your Intelligence" by Win Phd Wenger and Richard Poe.

These two talented authors/intellects analyze the mechanics of creativity and genius and give you a number of exercises that will boost your problem solving ability, creativity and yes genius. Many scientists, business people, students and many others have greatly profited from reading this book (including me :).

Hope this helps,

Crazy

I'm unaware that anything NEW can be created. That applies to tangibles as well as intangibles.

Even Plato as a philosopher, was basically a "theorist" and Philosophy is as cyclical as the 4 seasons.

NEW,,,in my opinion doesn't come about by trying to MAKE it so,,,in happens in a natural, evolotuionary process, we sometimes have the grace to be involved in.

Reinventing is a way our species pushes evolution, in a desire to create improvements, and sometimes we get lucky.
