Read the label.
"Parfum" or "Parfume" is the real deal, about 40% fragrance.
"Eau de Parfum/Parfume" is less fragrance, more alcohol and fillers, 30% scent, 70% fillers.
Cologne, Eau de Toilet, are 10-20% real, 80-90% fillers.
If you can't read the bottle, or it doesn't have it on there, then it's probably the cheap stuff. Real perfume is expensive, but more importantly, the packaging is clearly labeled on both the box and the bottle.

With the number of counterfeit perfumes, the smell may approach that of the original. The "base" for the perfume may (or may not) be the same and the smell may be close but not exact. Pay the big bucks from a reliable store and you will get the genuine product.
But........ the difference isn't large and if the fragrance doesn't last as long, use more. The markup is astounding. Just get something you like and pay what you can pay...
