~~I used to have one as a kid and it hung in my room. I could stare at it for hours as it would spin and throw a rainbow of colors around the room......after watching it for so long reality seemed not so solid. Time slowed down and all there was was those rainbow colors...spinning.....it made things very dream-like.
thanks for the question, dreamer. You reminded me of something that i had forgotten.

A collection that my Great Aunt Jane has of these little crystal things, some are animals, some are objects, all kinds of little knick-knack things that she keeps is giant jewelry display case with a light. Whenever I visit, I just have to see the latest additions!

Quartzite crystals. They are amazing actually. They have a lot of useful abilities. Plus it's pretty wild when you rub two of them together in the dark.

...Rainbows of colors through the prism of crystals.......Beautiful colors spinning around a room. A fairy land kind of appeal. I love to hanging one or two in a window. It's like being near water...
